I shared a little bit about Engedi Estate in my post of the styled shoot, but I wanted to expand and tell you a bit more about them as a venue. Engedi is by far one of my favorite wedding venues in Frederick County! The grounds and the facilities are immaculate! The owner, Debbie, and her employees are extremely professional to work with both from a vendor’s perspective and from a guest’s. I can attest to both as I have had the privilege to work with them and be a bridesmaid in two weddings here in 2013.
If you are looking for a wedding or event venue in the Frederick County area, I highly recommend Engedi Estate!
This building is their open-air pavilion. It features a catering room so that your caterer has privacy and their work does not disturb your guests. The open sides can be closed in with window-ed tent side curtains if the weather is poor or a bit too chilly. My favorite feature of the pavilion is the cozy working fireplace!
The building below is the first bridal suite. It also features a ladies bathroom complete with three stalls, an extended vanity, and plenty of mirrors. The gent’s bathroom is also located here.
This is the inside of the first bridal suite. The Engedi staff is in the process of renovating the house on the property, which will become the bride’s suite. Most of the furniture shown here will be moved to the bride’s suite and this one will be redecorated to be more masculine for the gentlemen of the bridal party.
This is the house that will be finished for this year’s brides! I got a sneak peek a few weeks ago at the renovations. It’s stunning! Stay tuned for photos of the reveal!
They are also in the process of replacing this pergola with a larger one that will accommodate larger bridal parties.
Romantic white lights are strung below a black painted ceiling. It looks fabulous in the day time, but if you happen to be here after dark the lights on the ceiling blend beautifully with the night sky!
Here’s the cozy fireplace I mentioned before. It’s perfect for decorating! Consider placing a seating area here for your guests, or the sweetheart table for you and your honey.
There are endless places around the property for you to use to customize the look and feel of your wedding day or event! What a creative spot to feature your dessert table display!
