I’m learning that FAITH and RISK are inseparable. Walking by faith in life and in business means taking risks daily. I risk what someone thinks of me when I’m vulnerable in a conversation, when I try listening to God for an encouraging word for someone, or when God leads me to do business completely upside down of how the world would want me to do business. But, when I make the choice to love, honor, and be generous despite the potential risks, most of the time I get a glimpse of just how much that means to others and how much abundance is on the other side of risk when led by the Holy Spirit. It seems risky to the world to start from a place of generosity. To give before receiving. But that’s exactly what living in the Kingdom looks like. It looks like giving despite our current circumstances because we know who we are and Whose we are. We were created in the image and likeness of Generosity Himself. Once we know it’s our Heavenly Daddy’s “account” we are drawing from, whether that be finances, time, relationships, our gifts, etc, we can open our minds to just how vast of a treasure trove we have to draw from. There is no lack in Heaven and we have the choice to not live in lack here on earth. Jesus taught us to pray, “On earth as it is in Heaven”. Let’s align our minds and hearts with this very Truth and start living in the reality of ‘on earth as it is in Heaven’. Generosity seems like a risk to the world, but when led by God it’s actually the most wise and abundantly rewarding choice we could ever make. #JennaWrites
